Dale of Norway - Myking Men's Sweater - Black/Raspberry
$354.00
This retro and stylish sweater draws inspiration from traditional Norwegian patterns, reimagined with a modern fit and expression. Crafted from air-spun merino wool, it features a chunky, hand-knit texture that offers an incredibly soft and lightweight feel.
Named after the Norwegian mountain hamlet 'Myking', with many wooden cottages where such cozy garments fit perfectly. In Norwegian the word “myk” means “soft”.
Husky is an exceptionally soft and thick yarn that is surprisingly lightweight, allowing for light garments with a chunky, hand-knit appearance. This air-spun yarn features fibers that are blown into a central core, enhancing its durability compared to traditional soft yarns. The wool is first knitted loosely and then crafted into a soft and chunky sweater, resulting in a cozy and resilient piece. Naturally, the wool is mulesing-free. Garments knitted with Husky needs to be hand washed. (Fiber diameter: 19.5 micron)
